Recipe: Strawberry Dump Cake

Recently, we tried making a Strawberry “dump cake,” which was delicious. It really came out like a cobler and we loved it!

In a 9×13 glass pan…:

  • Dump 8 oz of chopped pineapple and spread around the bottom of the pan
  • Dump 2 cups halved strawberries and spread evenly
  • Sprinkle 15.25 oz bag of Duncane Hines “Classic Yellow” cake mix evenly over the top of the pineapple and strawberries, making sure the cake is flat on top once done
  • Cut up one stick of butter into 24 even pats and lay them evenly across the cake

Bake on 350° for 35-50 minutes. Check often, making sure not to over bake. Cake is done when golden brown on top and there are no more raw parts of the cake mix.
